- Elastic just released their biggest release ever — version 5.0 — which aims to make our life easier by not only aligning version numbers across all products, but also extending their capabilities across the entire Elastic Stack. Pat Wendorf, the speaker and Elastic Solution Architect, joins Elastic  from the big data world, and has a 10 year history in startups in Ontario.  His focus has been scalable, high performance data architecture.
