Hands-on Elasticsearch & Twitter: data visualization & text classification 

For October's Meetup, the KW Intersections Meetup and the Waterloo/Kitchener Elasticsearch Meetup will join forces for a special hands-on meetup. A hands-on session means that you all will be able to play with the technology, so make sure that you bring your laptops with you. We will cover the following topics:

• How to install Elasticsearch and Kibana on a virtual machine

• How to get Twitter data from the Twitter API into Elasticsearch

• How to build some insightful visualizations with Kibana

• How to perform Text classification with Elasticsearch 

We will provide you some extra practical pointers closer to the day of the Meetup. The meetup will be hosted at the new Sortable office.
