BAI Canada in Toronto and their sister company Transit Wireless in NYC offer an ad sponsored public Wi-Fi service in their respective subway services. Being Ad sponsored means selling to various customers in different industries.

Each of those customers have unique metrics and reporting requirements.   Jeremy will talk about how Elasticsearch has enabled them to meet the unique demands of their customers in a responsive / agile way, not possible before.

The problem we faced: parsing millions of lines of text an hour (radius account logs, social network Auth JSON, http logs)
