G'Day Everyone,

We recently had our global conference in San Francisco - Elastic{ON} 2016 - and we made a number of exciting announcements around where the stack is going. We'll spend the night going over the road map for the Elastic Stack, touch on some of the key points made during the event and discuss some of the awesome new features that are coming up, such as;

• V5.0! OF EVERYTHING!

• Elasticsearch Graph API and Ingest nodes

• Logstash APIs and clustering

• Lots of changes to Beats

• Kibana's new UI

• On premise Cloud (aka Found)

• The mysteriously named x-packs

Speakers for the night will be from our local team - Nicholas Lim, Russ Cam, Christian Strzadala and myself.

Our gracious hosts for this month are again Optiver, located in the middle of the Sydney CBD at 39 Hunter Street and they'll be providing us with refreshing food and drinks.
