G'Day fine folks,

Welcome to 2017! If you are looking at running the Elastic Stack on Azure, we have a pretty awesome treat for you with our first meetup of the year.

Deploying to Azure has never been easier than with Azure Resource Manager (ARM) templates. Elastic has had an ARM template in the Azure Marketplace for quite a while, able to deploy an unlimited size Elasticsearch cluster in a variety of topologies, along with Kibana and other features.

Russ Cam will share experiences in building the template. This talk will be of interest to those looking at Elasticsearch on Azure and what it takes to build a complex ARM template.

We'll start at our usual time of 1800 with food and drinks, and the talk will start at 1830. Thanks to our fantastic hosts, Optiver, for their continued support.
