==== Talk: Observability with APM - Bringing APM, Logs, and Metrics together to form a whole greater than the sum of their parts

Modern operations and reliability teams face new challenges as they’re tasked with delivering superior digital experiences to their customers. Whilst enabling technologies such as Cloud & Kubernetes can dramatically simplify the task of application deployment, they also increase complexity for the day-to-day tasks of managing application performance and gaining visibility into services. In the dynamic world of microservices, containers and Kubernetes, traditional monitoring techniques are no longer sufficient to provide essential visibility to maintain healthy and happy environments, applications, and customers. Instead, we need insights from all three pillars of observability: logging, metrics and tracing (APM).

==== Argus - Observability platform

For medium to large enterprises with multiple software teams and a heterogeneous technology landscape, “Argus” is an Observability platform that offers governed autonomy to teams whilst enabling them to self-serve their specific monitoring needs. Unlike off-the-shelf monitoring products, our platform reduces technology risk by ensuring alignment with organisational best practices while fostering agility by introducing DevOps best practices to building and maintaining monitoring stacks."
