Talk: Distributed tracing of Python App using Elastic APM

Abstract: Distributed tracing is a technique for monitoring & profiling systems built on a microservices architecture. Distributed tracing is quickly becoming a must-have component in the tools that organizations use to monitor their complex, microservice-based architecture. In this session, let's connect tools and services to monitoring a python application using Elastic APM on Azure.

Speaker Bio:

Vivek is a technophile and an Open Source contributor with around 14+ years of experience in the Software Industry and works at Microsoft as Sr. Developer Product Marketing Manager. In his previous role, he has mentored startups/developers, speaker at conferences/meetups for DigitalOcean as Senior Developer Advocate, Co-Founder / Chief-Architect of NoodleNext Technology. He was also heading DevOps and QA at BlackBuck and was a DevOps Solution Architect at HCL (Australia) in client engagement. Vivek started his career with IBM Rational (India Software Labs) as a Software Developer and is passionate about working with software developers. He published three papers in international forums, which includes one international journal.
