We are delighted to announce our next meetup in Singapore! Thanks to Glints for hosting and making this evening possible.

Our first speaker, Mark Teehan, is a Sales Engineer from Confluent. Mark will be speaking about the basics of Apache Kafka, data streaming, the core principles of streaming platforms (streams, tables etc.), and how the Elastic stack interacts with Kafka.
In his day-to-day work, Mark engages with customers to evaluate business and technical requirements, helps guide technical teams while conducting POCs and acts as a liaison between customers and the engineering teams in Confluent. Prior to Confluent, Mark lead the HANA proof of concept team in SAP. His first role in Singapore was on the tech team implementing servers, databases, cards and devices for EZ-Link.

We'll also have one of our Elastic Consultants, Jonathan Lim, giving an introduction to and a demo about Elastic APM. He will also provide a holistic view on Elastic operations, including Kafka MQ as part of the architecture.
Jonathan is from the Elastic professional services team covering the APAC region. Previously, he worked as a consultant in an Application Performance Management (APM) company. He brings a wealth of knowledge around the topics of troubleshooting application, network, infrastructure issues.
