Topic 1: Shield by Emanuel Muhr

Description: Shield adds enterprise-grade security to the ELK stack. It installs as a Plugin into elasticsearch and intercepts incoming API calls to enforce authentication and authorisation using a realm mechanism. It further provides network traffic encryption using Secure Sockets Layer / Transport Layer Security (SSL/TLS).This talk will provide an overview of the Shield components and some features will be demonstrated during a live presentation.
