From Raw Logs to Actionable Insights

Rob will start with a raw log file and walk through techniques to parse,transform and enrich the data, store it efficiently in Elasticsearch, and leverage the powerful visual capabilities of Kibana to gain instant insights.

Rob Cowart:  Rob is a Solutions Architect at Elastic where he leverages their powerful technology stack to solve today’s most challenging infrastructure management problems. Prior to joining Elastic Rob was the Director of Global Solutions Architecture at SevOne, a provider of network performance management solutions. He has also served as a Strategy Advisor within the CTO’s office of IBM’s Software Group, focused on Network and Service Management technologies. Over the last two decades he has completed projects for some of the worlds most well-known organisations, incl. Google, Apple, Verizon Wireless, Telstra, Deutsche Telekom, Sky Broadcasting and Vodafone.
