Monitoring Java Applications with apexbeat by Jens Saade

In his meetup speech, Jens Saade demonstrates how to utilize libbeat and APEX  to extract contextual metrics from a running Java application for monitoring purposes. The live demo showcases how to harvest some typical metrics from the SAP Hybris e-commerce platform.

APEX is an open sourced data extraction toolkit and can be linked to Elasticsearch via apexbeat for runtime analysis, debugging and monitoring.
