We're planning the last Elastic SA Meetup of 2018 and we'd love for all of you to join us on the 1st of November at Investec in Sandton.

We have some amazing speakers lined up with great topics.

Julian Gericke (LSD Information Technology) will be presenting 'Agile Infrastructure with Elastic'. With the drive towards application modernisation and cloud native architectures, traditional infrastructure and operations management practices are becoming more reliant on full scale automation to ensure consistent delivery and orchestration across distributed environments at scale. The notion behind agile infrastructure relates to leveraging organisational data and analytics, aggregated within Elasticsearch (and a cool robot) to inform and trigger automation actions. The agile infrastructure demo seeks to cover specific use cases across application, infrastructure and security operations.
Julian "Sparkles" Gericke is a Mech Warrior at LSD Information Technology, where he espouses open source tech, "DevOpsy" things and application modernisation.

Steven Carter (Entelect) returns to the stage to share his experiences of 'Building Kibana Plugins'.
Steven has been with the Elasticsearch team for two years, specializing in automation engineering across all of Standard Bank's ES environments using Chef, Ansible and Docker (and still enjoys long walks on the beach :) )
