6:30 pm: Talks start with Q&A - we'll have 3 different talks on the Elastic{ON} Recap.
8:30 pm: We'll wrap things up

Elastic {ON} 2018 was filled with many new and exciting announcements. In this meetup, we will highlight a few of the many: Canvas, Rollups, Machine Learning, etc. We will also talk about the evolution of the Elastic Stack into new solutions areas with the launch of new products such as APM and App Search.

Speakers:

Brandon Mensing manages a variety of cross-product initiatives, with a primary focus on Beats. Prior to Elastic, he worked at Sumo Logic and Basis Technology. His wide range of interests and background include NLP, ML, AI, robotics, bioinformatics, food, farming, nutrition, running, triathlons, psychology and metacognition.

Jason Zucchetto is a member of the Product Management team and focuses on Elasticsearch. Prior to joining Elastic, Jason was an early employee at a popular open source database company. Jason has held several positions, ranging from Java architect, team lead, and company co-founder. Jason is passionate about distributed systems, financial technologies, and developer experiences.

Yoav is a member of the Product Management team in Elastic and focuses on cloud and all things SaaS. He has a long-standing career and a strong passion for product management. He worked in the professional video space designing scalable, highly available systems for ingesting, transcoding and streaming video content. His career followed by building integrations and development frameworks in the enterprise social collaboration space and a recent stint in business travel, where he built a travel booking application (generating tons of metrics using Elastic !!) Yoav lives in Sunnyvale California and is a father of three whose interests include cryptocurrencies, real estate investing and snowboarding. Yoav holds a BSc. in industrial engineering from Tel Aviv University
