LinkedIn Engineering builds state of the art systems and algorithms that connect the world's professionals to make them more productive and successful. Up and down the stack, from best of class distributed systems like Apache Kafka to cutting edge mobile frameworks and take-no-prisoners machine learning infrastructure, LinkedIn Engineering solves the hardest, most rewarding problems in the industry.

In this session of the LinkedIn SF speaker series, Lucas Ewalt from the Site Reliability Engineering team will discuss how ELK is used for log analysis at LinkedIn, lessons learned from operating at scale, and how we use Kafka as our transport mechanism. Antoine Girbal, Elastic Solutions Architect will present on scaling ElasticSearch. Join us for a few bites and some interesting insight! The talks will start promptly at 6:30.

NOTE:

The talk is on 3rd floor. There will be a table for you to register in the lobby before you can go up elevator.
