We're hosting a joint meetup with the KW Intersections Montreal (https://www.meetup.com/K-W-Intersections-Montreal/events/248537589/) meetup for a hands-on session. We do have a limited space, so please only RSVP if you can make it!

• What we'll do

We will have a hands-on session about building a data application with Elasticsearch for Twitter. A hands-on session means that you all will be able to play with the technology, so make sure that you bring your laptops with you. We will cover the following topics:

• How to install Elasticsearch and Kibana on a virtual machine

• How to get Twitter data from the Twitter API into Elasticsearch

• How to build some insightful visualizations with Kibana

• How to perform Text classification with Elasticsearch (https://www.elastic.co/blog/text-classification-made-easy-with-elasticsearch)

• What to bring
A laptop with fully charged battery and an extension card if needed. The VM that we will provide the week before the meetup downloaded on your laptop. We will explain how you can work with them.
