We try to take advantage when Elastic Engineers are in town for Elastic training.  This month we're adding a meetup which will be hosted at Fandango.

Elastic Engineers providing details on recent announcements from ElasticON 16 Conference.

• A summary of the features for the entire Elastic Stack

Beats and Ingest Node are new ways to get data indexed into Elasticsearch and ultimately viewed in Kibana. There will be demo that will introduce Beats and Ingest Node.

Speaker Bio:

Ryan Schneider has worked as a backend and distributed system engineer since 2004 and worked in companies both large and small. Ryan has a BS in CS, an MS in Software Development and Management, and a passion for architecture and building great systems. At night he also taught as an adjunct professor for the RIT Software Engineering department. Ryan is excited to now be able to blend his love for teaching, elasticsearch, and building great software into his role as an Education Engineer for Elastic where he enjoys helping enable other engineers to build amazing products using the Elastic Stack.

Parking and Logistics:

There is underground parking. Make sure they only park in unmarked parking spaces not valet or reserved spaces. Once parked, please proceed to the elevator tower in building 12200 and up to the 1st floor to check in with security. This is because 7pm is considered after hours and only people with access badges can come up to the 4th floor without being let up. Then please ring the doorbell outside our lobby, check in at the front desk and say they are here for the event. We will have our receptionist London be here to check them in and direct them to the kitchen.

Note: Parking validations will not be provide for this event.
