Talk Abstract:
With the Elasticsearch rollup APIs, you can summarize historical data and store it in a smaller index for future analysis. This lets you delete the original data and save storage space, while retaining the ability to visualize the important aspects of the data. We rolled out a new UI for managing these APIs in Kibana 6.5, and introduced beta features for visualizing rollup data. In this presentation, I’ll walk you through these features and explain their benefits.
