About this event

From Dev to 24/7: Scaling Elasticsearch infrastructure to handle high volume real-time traffic at Yottaa

We will discuss the evolution of the ES infrastructure in Yottaa from the first POC to the 24/7 1B events /day production system. Scaling ES infrastructure and data pipeline processing is an art in itself - and we will discuss many challenges and lessons learned along the way: cluster sizing, multi-tenancy, data balancing, monitoring and other areas of interest. Speakers: Tim Fessenden - VP of Engineering; Marina Popova - Engineer; Andriy Pyshchyk - Engineer

Machine Learning for Anomaly detection in the Elastic Stack

Steve Kearns will present the latest addition to the X-Pack family!

Logistics notes from our host, Wayfair

The meeting space for tonight is on floor 3 of Copley Tower 4.

Copley Place is easy to reach via MBTA or by car, there's plenty of parking available in the Copley Place Parking Garage. Within the mall, look for the marble fountain near the center of the mall, then take the escalators or elevators there to the top floor, and look for a security desk. Detailed instructions can be found here.
