About this event

Elasticsearch on OpenShift internally at Red Hat.

OpenShift is an Enterprise Kubernetes platform from Red Hat. We
will present our architecture and best practices operating log
aggregation platform using Elasticsearch. Specifically we will discuss
deployment, containerization and multitenancy implemented in
Elasticsearch on OpenShift. We will also cover lessons learned on
running Elasticsearch in OpenShift as a logging platform.
We will show how we use Elasticsearch as a part of Red Hat internal
Data Hub. Data Hub is Red Hat internal data lake platform. Data Hub is
extensively used for log aggregation, build log/test result
aggregation and analytics.

Anton Sherkhonov is a Senior Data Engineer in the Red Hat AI Center of Excellence who partners with various internal Red Hat and upstream teams to help them deal with data challenges and on-board them into the Red Hat Data Hub.

# Cooking at Home with Beats
The great thing about Open Source projects is that they can be customized to suit the needs of the user, when a new use case arrises, you can clone a project and update it, even submit the suggestion back in a pull request, but what if the entire project lives in diverse, unpredictable environments needing lots of custom use cases? This is exactly where Elastic's Beats live.

Aaron Aldrich is a Community Builder at Elastic and a founding organizer of the DevOps CT meetup & DevOpsDays Hartford 2017.
