Sharing America's Code with code.gov
Code.gov leverages the power of code sharing and collaboration in order to help the U.S. government cut down on duplicative software development. This initiative is designed to save significant taxpayer dollars for the American people, indexing exciting open source projects from NASA, Homeland Security, NSA, GSA, Department of Energy, and many more federal agencies. Join the Elastic Washington, DC User Group for an evening with Code.gov, and learn about their successes (and challenges) with open sourcing America’s code. Code.gov will also showcase their Elasticsearch solution for indexing the U.S. Government open source software.
