Elastic Cloud on Kubernetes - Dave Moore - Solutions Architect @ Elastic

Dave is a Solutions Architect at Elastic, where he helps people succeed with real-time search and analytics at scale. He brings nearly a decade of experience working with data, applications, distributed systems, and many talented engineering teams across the world. Dave specializes in entity resolution, and he is the creator of zentity (https://zentity.io), an Elasticsearch plugin for real-time entity resolution. Dave lives with his wife and kids in the Research Triangle of North Carolina.

Site Search & App Search - Peter Kim - Solutions Architect @ Elastic

Peter is a Solutions Architect, Search Specialist at Elastic with over 15 years of experience architecting and developing search applications with Elasticsearch, Endeca, MarkLogic, and core Lucene. He’s currently responsible for helping drive adoption of the Elastic Site Search, App Search, and Enterprise Search solutions. On his free time, Peter enjoys bicycling around New York City with his wife and two sons.

Peter will give a brief presentation and a demo of two of Elastic’s newest search solutions, Site Search and App Search. These new solutions offer tools and simplified APIs built on top of the popular open-source Elasticsearch to implement a search experience in your application with no specialized knowledge of search engines required.
