The Elastic folks are back in town! We will host Boaz and Christoph for another meetup filled with information and insights. Agenda 6:30pm - Gather, eat, drink, socialize. 6:50pm - Talks start. 8:30pm - Open Q&A. Talk 1, by Christoph Wurm - What's new in Elasticland? We'll cover these topics: Christoph is a Solutions Architect at Elastic, working with companies in EMEA and beyond to help them understand what it is and what it can do for them. Talk 2, by Boaz Leskes - Resiliency in Elasticsearch Resiliency is a primary development focus in Elasticsearch. A lot of improvements were released in ES 2.0, and even more is coming in future releases. From faster recovery times to more durable writes, we will cover the highlights of recent work in this area. Boaz is a developer of Elasticsearch and the author of Sense, the popular front end for Elasticsearch. Boaz's background is diverse, ranging from C++ to C#, Python, Java, and sometimes even JavaScript. Based in Amsterdam, he's a fan of faceting, Lucene, monitoring, and search.
