We will kick off the meetup by deploying and configuring an Elasticsearch cluster on Microsoft Azure, and walk through the various considerations, best practices, tips and techniques. We will demonstrate and discuss some of the standard configuration and considerations for standing up a production cluster.

Bring your laptops and Azure subscriptions so that you can follow along or share what you have. If you have experience deploying and managing Elasticsearch clusters on Azure please join and share. I have a personal preference for deploying on to Ubuntu in Azure.

I would love to cover Goggle and Amazon cloud deployments and management in future meetups. I have a lot less experience with those environments, so if anyone has some experience and is willing to share, please let me know and I would be happy to organize the meetup and would be happy to work with you on it.
