Kibana Team Speaker Bios:

Rashid Khan is an operations engineer turned software developer at Elasticsearch. After 10 years in operations, with a brief detour into the Peace Corps, he penned the first version of Kibana. Originally conceived as a performant web interface to Logstash data, Kibana now serves as an analysis and dash-boarding platform for Elasticsearch. Rashid has been known to hide his laptop from himself to make time for fine food, cheap wine and ill conceived automotive maintenance endeavors.

Joe Fleming works for Elasticsearch as part of the Kibana team. He's a big Javascript, web development and open source advocate and is active in the local development community, having presented at and helped operate several local meetups and helped lead various local training events.

Spencer Alger is a JavaScript fanatic that works on Kibana and the JavaScript Client at Elasticsearch.
