Join us for an Elasticsearch meetup featuring speakers from Elasticsearch and Thomson Reuters at XO Group. Be sure to bring Photo ID for security in order to enter the venue. XO Group's offices are located on the 24th floor of the building. Levi (le-vee) Reich manages the News AppSupport/DevOps team for Thomson Reuters. He started there as an engineer about 4 years ago and now manages a team of seven. His experience with Thomson Reuters is primarily with low latency News. Outside of work, he likes to travel the world and cycle. Levi Reich from Thomson Reuters will give a talk on Elasticsearch implementations and use cases. Peter Kim is a Solutions Engineer at Elasticsearch based in Hoboken, New Jersey. In the past, he's worked as a consulting engineer at companies such as Endeca and MarkLogic and developed applications on core Lucene. Peter will be presenting an introduction to the ELK stack using the NYC traffic accident dataset. More details to come, just wanted to save the date.
