Sooner or later, we upgrade...

As we follow the intensive development of and enhancements to the Elastic Stack, we will see new features and functions that we want to use. Alas, "one click updating" is not really a thing in the real world of real systems that do big amounts of real work.

Based on popular demand, we are going to focus on hands-on demos and examples in this meetup. If you are managing clusters, experimenting with dev environments, or even doing business analysis and architecture or capacity planning, this event is for you. The goal: talk about prepping and performing upgrades (which has tentacles that touch many roles, including data and UI people).

If you would like to share your upgrade story or history with versions of Elastic Stack in your work -- particularly if you've hopped from v1 to v2 or anything to v5-- we'd love to hear the story (if you can show something on screen, that would be AWESOME). Or, if you have big questions about the process, you can share your question ahead of time. Just send me a note. 

INTERESTINGLY, Mike H from Elastic can talk about a way to do 1.x to 5.0 upgrades, skipping 2 altogether. Don't we all want to be on v5.0 anyway?!
