️Combining Logs, Metrics, and Traces in ELK for Unified Observability

Join Elastic's Product Lead for Observability to learn about how you can bring logs, infrastructure metrics, APM, and uptime monitoring data together into a single operational datastore, and take your observability efforts to the next level. We'll explain how Elasticsearch efficiently combines all these data types in a single store and exposes each one as "just another index". We'll show you how Kibana is used to analyze all this data, both as part of curated UI workflows in new Logs, Infrastructure, APM, and Uptime applications, as well as in Kibana's ad-hoc analytics tools. Plus, we'll share how recent developments -- like Metrics Explorer, streaming log tailing, support for distributed tracing in APM, and integration with Prometheus -- help you identify, troubleshoot, and resolve operational issues faster. We'll leave time for AMA, so bring your questions!

Tanya Bragin is a Senior Director of Product Management at Elastic, and the Product Lead for Elastic Observability team. This team is responsible for building Logging, Metrics, and Application Performance Monitoring (APM) solutions on top of the Elastic Stack. During her 4+ year tenure with the company, Tanya has worked with Kibana, Beats, and Logstash teams to expand Elasticsearch use cases into operational analytics. Leading up to the latest 6.5 release, she was instrumental in bringing to market the Logs and Infrastructure Monitoring UIs, which complement the APM Solution and complete the Observability trifecta.
