About this event

Elasticsearch provides integrations for specific programming languages and frameworks to help application developers create search features, such as search results, autocomplete, and recommendations. However, understanding the available tools, and designing search features with them, may be overwhelming. Using Ruby on Rails as a concrete example, Chris Cressman will outline the available Elasticsearch integrations and then present a framework for designing specific solutions, addressing common concerns such as indexes and indexing, constructing queries, (de)serialization between Elasticsearch and domain objects, and handling/presenting results.

Doors open at 6:00PM with food, networking, and refreshments. We'll start the main session after 6:30PM.
