Talk 1: Smart Recommender System with Elasticsearch by Irfan Abdurrahman, Developer, Jublia

Here at Jublia we match people and content to create successful business matching and effective content discovery at events. We do this through a data-driven approach built on the foundation of an intelligent recommendations platform. And the interesting part is we built the search features throughout the platform using Elasticsearch to enable intelligent content discovery for users. The speed, scalability, and the ability of fine tuning query of Elasticsearch took a great part of making our platform as reliable and swift as possible. We now set our eyes to integrate Elasticsearch into our existing recommendation algorithm. We believe there are still a lot of possibilities yet to be discovered to make a recommendation engine as powerful as ever with Elasticearch!

In this meetup, I will present about how to move your elasticsearch into container technology using docker. This presentation included how to create dockerfile for single cluster elasticsearch and also for multicluster elasticsearch.
