Perceivant has created an Analytics Data Warehouse leveraging several open source technologies to provide key functions, with those being Elasticsearch, Spark and R and Mysql.  This solution provides one of the fastest, maintenance free OLAP cubes in the market today.  Perceivant will demo key functionality area of their solution and then review a few technical challenges to overcome with using Elasticsearch in this way.

Brian Rowe is the founder and CEO of Perceivant. He started his most recent venture, Perceivant, after a successful exit of iGoDigital. In 1990, he started developing Internet based applications programming in C. Brian has been the project manager for various programs with annual budgets between $10m-$20m. As director of e-Business at Cummins Engine Company, Brian started six online businesses and won the CIO Magazine’s 50 Best Intranets Award during his tenure. Brian was a founder of Last Piece Software where he acted as the president until the company was acquired by iGoDigital, which was eventually acquired by ExactTarget. With a background that bridges both business and technology, he enjoys the fast paced and dynamic startup environment, where these skills can be used effectively. Educational Background: MBA, B.S. in Financial Planning, Purdue University.
