Voici notre cinquième meetup pour la communauté francophone Elasticsearch.

Pour la soirée, nous aurons le plaisir d'être accueillis chez Bearstech dans une salle à l'esprit très underground et hacking: la War Room !

La soirée sera organisée autour d'un accueil par Bearstech et Elasticsearch (5 mn) suivi de deux talks :

Surveillance et autopsie de ses propres serveurs, expérimentation avec Logstash et Kibana (30 mn)

Exemples concret d'utilisation de logstash et Kibana pour faire raconter des histoires à des serveurs. 

Deux cas concrets : 

• visualiser les tentatives ratés d'authentifications ssh

• debuggage non intrusif http pour un empilement de proxy et d'APIs RESTs.

Monitoring Marvels (30 mn)

A couple of weeks ago Elasticsearch Marvel was launched - a management & monitoring product for Elasticsearch. Built based on years of experience of helping users with their clusters, Marvel represents the tool that we always wanted to have. Marvel offers insights into the current state of the cluster, it’s historical behaviour and it’s distributed nature. Aggregating all the goodness already provided by the rich Stats API and combining them with events such as node joining or leaving, provides for a powerful tool. Having all this information at one place is key in understanding what’s going on right now, what happened in the past and help see trend going into the future. In this hands demo, we will go through the functionality of Marvel in detail and explain the purpose of the different dashboards. 

Of course, as always, there will be ample time for Q&A about Marvel and all things Elasticsearch.
