About this event

From deploying a small dev cluster for app search to managing a prod deployment of hundreds of nodes, our Elastic Engineers have seen it all. During this meetup, Alicia and Marcelo, Support Engineers at Elastic, will share important lessons to get started with Elasticsearch and to scale existing deployments with confidence. Food and beverages will be provided.

This event will be streamed via Zoom to allow community members that won't be able to attend in person to watch the presentation and participate in the Q&A. Zoom details will be provided via email before the presentation start time to those that have RSVP'd.

*** About the Speakers ***

Alicia Scott is an Elastician/Support Engineer at Elastic. She has worked in the technology industry for the last 17 years as a Support Engineer in multiple capacities including databases (Oracle, MS SQL), HA systems, SysAdmin(Linux), and Physician healthcare apps . Alicia loves the challenge of learning new technologies and working with customers to meet their unique needs.

Marcelo Rodriguez is an information technology professional working in the field for over 20 years in various roles; Systems Engineer, SysAdmin, Applications Admin, DBA (Oracle, MS SQL, PostgreSQL), Support Engineer (monitoring systems, Data Platforms). Worked at Startups, Government systems, and software companies, currently a Support Engineer at Elastic. Loves to work with together with customers to resolve issues and meet their goals.
