Join us for a joint meetup with the Dallas Kubernetes Meetup on July 24th
Please RSVP on their user group page: https://www.meetup.com/Dallas-Kubernetes-Meetup/events/251727972/
Elastic has a really good offering for companies who are rolling out to Kubernetes and want to monitor servers and server/applications logs across their clusters/pods; Elastic provides the ability to autodiscover containers based on meta-data and automatically have logs sending the minute a container is turned on. We will review the Elastic stack solution and watch a demo, alongside reviewing operational analytics using the Elastics Stack. If you have data and would like to do research on that data, Elastic provides a very fast, scalable way to centralize and understand the state of applications, containers, and servers - across logs, monitoring data, business metrics, and application performance metrics. We will take a broad survey of the stack during this session.
Bio: Geoff Bernard is a solution architect at Elastic. Based in Dallas, he supports efforts in Texas and nearby - usually centered around (but not limited to) (1) search use cases, (2) operational logs, and (3) and security analytics - all of which benefit by support from the Elastic Stack.
