About this event

Agenda:

6:00 PM - Doors open.

6:00 - 6:30 PM - Refreshments and enjoying each other's company.

6:30 - 7:00 PM -

Introduction to Elasticsearch:

Steve Mayzak from Elasticsearch will give folks a good introduction to Elasticsearch.  He will cover why you might want to consider it, what its great at and how you can use it and tools around it to get value out of your data faster than you might think!

Leveraging Elasticsearch in Content Management:

Our hosts, Vodori, will share their experiences using Elasticsearch as a core technology in their enterprise content management system. They'll detail how they've created JAVA libraries to assist in generating Elasticsearch mappings based on Java objects as well as describe how they filter and search for content. Elasticsearch enables Vodori to provide a high level of functionality to our end-users not previously possible through standard query capabilities in traditional CMSs.

There will be ample time for Q&A following the talks.

7:00 - 7:30 PM - Wrap up.
