Talk 1: Security Analytics with Elastic Stack by Haran Kumar, Security Specialist, Elastic
Elasticsearch can deal with many different data types, such as structured and unstructured text, numbers and metrics, as well as geo points. This gives us the advantage of being able to ingest many different log sources, as we are not restricted by our data store. Real-time access to log data will allow you to filter and locate that one “needle in a haystack” event that could be the cause of a security breach. In this meetup, we would discuss on how Elastic stack is adapted for security analytics use cases.

I would be covering,
- Threat intelligence lookup
- Threat hunting use cases
- SIEM and Machine learning

Talk 2 : How to Build Great React Search Experiences Quickly by SoftwareAG team

Bring any questions/queries about the Elastic stack and your own experiences along to discuss on the night.
