It's been far too long since the last meetup, so lets get things rolling again.
Once again the meetup will be at the offices of Otherlevels 1/235 Edward St, in the CBD and just a short walk down the hill from Central Station.
We will have two talks for this meet.
The first is about the central logging use case employed at the University of Queensland, with a priority on authentication, MAC and IP address data sources. An in depth discussion about the challenges faced, the architecture of the cluster and the future direction of the project.
The second is a presentation on how to build and use Elastic-rs, one of the Elasticsearch community Rust clients, this will be an intro so if you've never used Rust before don't worry!
Bring any questions/queries about the Elastic stack and your own experiences along to discuss on the night. RSVPs close at 2000 (8pm) on Tuesday the 18th of, so get in quick to ensure your spot.
We look forward to seeing you all there!.
