Introduction to Elasticsearch with Node.js

In this talk we'll go over the basics of Elasticsearch, its HTTP API and peek a bit under the hood as well. We'll then look at the the Javascript client for Elasticsearch which can be used from Node.js and, by extension, Meteor applications.

Shaunak works as a Developer Advocate at Elastic, the makers of Elasticsearch, Logstash and Kibana. In past lives he has been a Node.js, PHP and Java application developer.

Enhancing Meteor Search With Elasticsearch

Elasticsearch and Meteor are a powerful combination. Harrison is going to walk through the Respondly search infrastructure and some challenges along the way.
