About this event

Join us for an Elastic meetup on March 29, we'll have a talk from Elastic's Anoop Sunke.

The "Elasticsearch Standalone Consumer[Indexer]” talk has been cancelled. Anoop's talk on Elasticsearch and Hadoop is still on, so join us for Elastic Stack conversation, this technical talk, and some food and drinks.

Tales from the Field - Elasticsearch and Hadoop

Hadoop is a great platform for storing and processing massive amounts of data. Elasticsearch is an ideal solution for real-time analytics and visualization of the same data.  Join us to learn how you can leverage the full power of both platforms to maximize the value of your data. Learn about the ES-Hadoop connector and some common design patterns from real-world implementations.

Anoop Sunke

is a data nerd, coffee lover and an amateur drone pilot currently working as a Solutions Architect at Elastic. As an SA his primary job is to help customers solve tough problems like distributed search, analytics and exploding unicorns using the 'Elastic Stack'. Prior to Elastic, he worked at Hortonworks  and helped many organizations with designing large scale Hadoop implementations.

We are always looking for users to share their Elastic story, if you or anyone you know is interested, please send a note to meetups@elastic.co!
