LinkedIn speaker Tin Le will be giving a talk.

Speaker Bio: Tin Le is a Senior Site Reliability Engineer at LinkedIn based in Mountain View, CA.   He is an all around hacker/engineer holding patents and versatilely also a jack-of-all-trades. His interests lie in highly scaleable architecture, cloud, NoSQL, search (Elasticsearch), programming languages such as Go, Internet-of-Things, etc. While away from the computer, he enjoys reading books.

Elastic Developer Tal Levy will give a talk titled: "ELK and Kafka"

Abstract:ELK and Kafka
Ever wanted to know all about using Kafka with the ELK stack? Tal Levy, developer on the Logstash team, is here to help! In this presentation, Tal will cover how to scale Logstash using Kafka, including architecture and configuration. He'll also explore the new Logstash Kafka plugins and how you can make the best use of them. Tal will conclude by covering monitoring Kafka JMX reporter statistics using the ELK Stack, including a demo of on an ELK dashboard to collect and analyze Kafka JMX bean statistics.

Speaker bio: Tal Levy is a Logstash developer based in Mountain View, CA. Tal joined Elasticsearch from Quixey where he worked on data systems built with Kafka and Hadoop. When he is not click-clacking on keyboards, you can find him cycling and climbing.
