Delivering Telemetry as Code

Can and should we deliver Dashboards, Searches and Alerting as code? In this discussion, Anthony will review the lifecycle of traditional Telemetry artifacts and the problems with maintaining them by hand. Using the power of recent Kibana APIs, Anthony will discuss details how Ellie Mae is implementing “Telemetry as Code” and will present a demo using Kibana and Terraform.

As a Principal Engineer, Anthony is responsible for dreaming and delivering big ideas. After building Ellie Mae’s Public Cloud strategy, Anthony is looking towards solving the last mile of the cloud. The last mile being the delta between what the cloud delivers and the business needs. Armed with experiences in both operations and engineering, Anthony pushes the needle forward towards the future…
