Event Information: This Month's Bands: 2MX2 is a tight-knit group from Colorado that combines traditional Latin music and influences with alternative rock, pop, rap, and hip-hop to create a powerful unique sound. They are well known for their compelling lyrics that flow between Spanish and English focusing on political topics such as immigration, health, education reform, and more. The band consists of members Owen Trujillo who was born in Zacatecas Mexico, and Denver natives, Juice ET Hugo, Lolita & DMD. All four members are bilingual emcees with a passion for making music that transcends our ancestors into our generation today. They led the stage at Levitt Pavilion this summer and will also be featured in this year’s Westword Music Showcase in September. Dayshaper - Established in 2021 and based out of Denver CO, Alt-Rock outfit Dayshaper has already quickly begun making waves in the local scene. Their high-energy music and fun, commanding stage presence make for a whirlwind of an act that isn’t soon forgotten. With a refreshing take on the Alternative Rock genre that screams to be a little bit pop, a little bit punk, and a little bit metal, Dayshaper's hard hitting riffs and aggressive, but catchy vocal melodies are exactly what the scene has been craving.
