Abstract: In 2014, Azure DevOps Services decided to power its code search feature using Elasticsearch. The indexed data size has since grown from 500 MB to 500 TB without impacting search latency. Learn how the engineers at Azure DevOps Services team tackled some of the scale and performance challenges to make code search one of the most popular extensions in Azure DevOps Services.
