Elastic's CI/CD Observability provides developers and release administrators granular visibility into the performance of the CI/CD pipelines with monitoring dashboards, alerting, and root cause analysis on pipelines. This allows understanding slow builds or increases in failing or flaky tests and enabling faster and reliable automation. The talk introduces developers to CI/CD monitoring with Elastic and demonstrates and example of monitoring a CI/CD pipeline. Overview on Elastic common schema (ECS), The ECS is an open source specification, developed with support from the Elastic user community. ECS defines a common set of fields to be used when storing event data in Elasticsearch, such as logs and metrics.
